Development and implementation at Ukrainian enterprises of technological schemes for the production of directly reduced and hot briquetted iron using VKVK technology, taking into account the requirements of the European Green Deal program.

Technologies for obtaining PVZ / GBZ on clean waterways. The Institute of Materials and Alloys is developing alternative technologies using hydrogen in mixtures with other gases. For this purpose, a new technological process is proposed - "high-temperature catalytic process on consumable catalysts" (VKVK). VKVK technology allows to organize the production of PVZ / GBZ on the basis of the existing metallurgical enterprise in need of reconstruction, in connection with the requirements of decarbonization. The technology uses blast furnace equipment that stops the production of cast iron. After the reconstruction, other products will be produced in these areas, including PVZ / GBZ.
